#13 - Creating a Healthy Ecosystem Using Regenerative Practices with Donna Kilpatrick of Heifer International

With more than 20 years of experience in agriculture, Donna Kilpatrick is a land steward, specializing in regenerative agriculture and ecosystem health and abundance. She has been with Heifer USA since 2007, overseeing all agriculture enterprises on Heifer Ranch since 2017. The ranch, managed by three women, grows food, farmers, and community through pasture-based farming and a range of educational programs, including agricultural workshops and learning experiences. Donna is passionate about providing livestock a life that allows the animal to be outside, and the sunshine, eating what ruminant animals are designed to eat — grass. Witnessing the transformation that occurs when livestock are integrated with nature motivates Donna on her hardest days.
